• Honest, reliable with good time keeping skills. • A full UK driver’s licence and personal transport. • Good listening skills and good communication. • Sensitive and Discreet to safely handle confidential information. • Able to work well with limited supervision. • A pleasant and appropriate manner to work closely with our service users.

• Give back to your local community. • Social interaction with a varied range of individuals. • Opportunities to complete further training. • Sight Awareness Training and Hard of Hearing Training. • Ability to change the lives of people with sight loss, across a varied age range. • Develop skills and experience to support job applications, where references for employment can be provided if required.

Vision North Somerset offers flexibility for its staff and volunteers, any availability can be discussed with our Volunteer Coordinator and Peer Support Coordinator prior to commencement. Currently, this activity runs every Wednesday for mid morning to early afternoon.
