Act For Nature Volunteer

As an Acting for Nature Volunteer, you can take part in digital surveys throughout the year from your home or local green spaces in Warwickshire, Coventry, and Solihull!

Promoting your acts for nature and wildlife in your local community, learning new skills e.g., storytelling, to promoting and raising awareness amongst others to encourage them to support the work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Small acts for nature, depending on your space:
• Make a bug hotel.
• Put a hedgehog hole in your garden fence.
• Make a bird feeder.
• Make a wildflower area, in your garden or in pots.
• Create a wildlife pond.
• Grow your own vegetables, share with family, friends or neighbours.
• Make and put up a bird box.
• Make a hedgehog home.
• Create habitat piles.
• Wildlife gardening.

You will share with us on a monthly basis, your acts for nature and what you have done for wildlife! You will do this by either placing your act for nature on our #TeamWilder Map or by sending us an email!

More space for nature with more people on nature’s side!

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Conservation, Gardening

• A keen interest in conservation, sustainability and the state of nature. • An interest in the work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. • Ability to take part in digital surveys. • Ability to share actions for nature across a range of social media channels. • Friendly with good communication skills. • A high level of enthusiasm, to help to motivate others whilst sharing your actions for nature.

• Contribute to the protection of our wildlife and wild places. • Act for nature. • An opportunity to share with others the work of the Trust. • Improve your health and well-being. • Help to bring about change as part of our wilder future movement #TeamWilder. • Learn new skills, whilst meeting like-minded people, and make new friends.
