Proud Sports is a leading sports club in the UK, offering a diverse range of physical activities such as Badminton, Squash, Tennis, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Dancing classes, hiking, and more. Through partnerships with various London councils, we are committed to promoting mental wellbeing, enhancing physical health, addressing social isolation, and empowering individuals to progress positively in their lives.

Our success is greatly attributed to the dedication of our exceptional volunteers, whose generosity and support are invaluable to our projects. By volunteering with Proud Sports, you can significantly impact the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges, while also providing opportunities for novice and intermediate sports enthusiasts to engage in sports and connect with like-minded individuals.

You will help our session leaders to provide a fun, safe and welcoming environment for our participants by:
• Welcoming attendees to the session in a friendly and warm manner.
• Helping any new attendees to settled into the session.
• Facilitate games by either playing yourself or taking the score.
• Engage with our attendees in a calm, friendly and non-judgemental manner.
• Make sure any equipment is easily accessed and in good condition.
• General set up and tidying up as required.
• Help to spot potential hazards and take preventative measures e.g., cleaning up spilt drinks to prevent slips.
