Social Media Volunteer

Social Media Volunteer What’s involved?

To do this role you will need to have your own Facebook account or be able to create your own account.

Help us develop and execute a social media strategy to help us increase engagement, improve the number of followers/likes, create & execute a content calendar

Produce fresh and engaging content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram)

Engage with our followers and encourage interaction

Manage and maintain social media channels on a regular basis

Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local community groups

Advertising volunteering opportunities

Thinking of innovitave ways to drive online engagement

Identifying target audiences

Marketing, PR & Media,Advice, Information & Support,Community Work

Creative & Design, Organising & Planning, Reading & Writing, Communication Skills

Our social media volunteers are; Passionate about supporting parents Organised and reliable Able to think creatively when sharing content Good communicators

Time commitment: • This is a flexible role that can fit around your commitments and availability • The time you will spend volunteering may vary depending on the number of activities you are supporting. You could volunteer with as little as 2 hours per month • We’re ideally looking for people who can volunteer for at least 6 months
