Medical Detection Dogs needs a national network of speakers to help raise awareness of the charity and raise valuable funds. Speakers deliver talks about the charity to local groups such as WI's, Rotary clubs and community groups. Speakers can either go solo or pair up to deliver a ready-made presentation. We provide the equipment and online training sessions.

This role makes a real difference to the work we do, is fun, and gives you the opportunity to meet lots of people and contribute directly to a worthwhile cause. Anytime you can give makes a big difference – whether it is a few talks a year or thirty and it can be completely worked around your schedule. This volunteer opportunity is great for anyone wanting to build on their existing public speaking skills or develop and practise.

Teaching & Training

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Communication Skills

If you feel confident to speak in front of a group of people or have experience in doing so, this could be the role for you.

This role is flexible in location. You choose your radius of how far you are happy to travel for a talk - whether it be only in your local area or 30-50 minutes away, it is completely up to you! Travel expenses are covered.
