Volunteers need to be able to pick the tasks up quickly, get on well with others and be mutually supportive. A cheerful disposition is needed, for greeting the Festival entrants and registering them.

This role will especially appeal to volunteers who are interested in (mainly) classical music and speech and drama, and who want to see these arts flourish in Sutton. There are opportunities to watch performances by some highly gifted young (and older!) entrants.

You can volunteer for one or more sessions. Each session runs for three hours and we ask volunteers to report 30 minutes beforehand.

Overton Grange School, Stanley Road, Sutton,

SM2 6TQ

Car parking is available in the school car park. Otherwise take the 80 or 280 bus from Sutton station to the Devonshire Avenue bus stop and walk down Ventnor Road.
