What you will be doing

Regular Saturday gardening volunteer required at Friends of Cannock Stadium Allotments 11am - 1pm at our allotments on Lovatt Place. Duties to include weeding, planting, watering, path maintenance and more. Refreshment facility available. Great opportunity to be part of a friendly and welcoming team who look after this community allotment and to give back to the community.

Directions

Bus stop right by park gates on Pye Green Road. Walk downhill and take first left into Princess Street and then first left into Lovatt Place. Green entrance gates are a few metres along on the right. Roughly 150 yards walk.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.
