Read Easy North Staffs is a small voluntary organisation operating in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent. We provide free, one-to-one reading coaching for adults who struggle to read. Our management team works behind the scenes to keep the show on the road, undertaking such tasks as publicity, volunteer recruitment, networking with other organisations, providing talks and exhibitions about our work, grant applications, organising DBS checks and training for our coaches. If you feel you could help with any of these activities please get in touch for an informal chat.

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Creative & Design, Evaluating & Reviewing, Good IT Skills, Managing People, Organising & Planning, Reading & Writing, Research

Good written and verbal communication skills. Access to a laptop or pc. Ability to use Word and other Microsoft packages an advantage. Willing to travel within Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent.

Knowing you are helping adults to improve their reading skills by supporting our operation. Opportunities to volunteer at a time to suit you. Training and support from team members. Support from Read Easy UK advisors. Travel expenses payable.

2 or more hours a week to suit you.
