This varied and rewarding role involves supporting potential volunteers to find a suitable voluntary placement. You'll get the chance to help multiple people each week and benefit charities across the county

Key Tasks may involve:
• To answer enquiries from new volunteers.
• Refer potential volunteers to local organisations.
• Carry out follow-ups with both volunteers and organisations to track the progress of the referrals and deal with any arising issues.
• Undertake all duties in line with Support Staffordshire’s organisational policies, in particular, those on Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Health and Safety and Confidentiality.

If you have previous experience as a volunteer that you would be happy to share with others as you advise them, then that would be beneficial (but not required).

Basic IT skills will be required and full training and support are provided to help you fit in and to be a success.

Whilst this is an advisory role, there is also a focus on administrative tasks. So it could potentially suit someone looking to build up their career skills in this area.
