Together Better is a Volunteer Centre Hackney project that aims to lighten the load on GP surgeries and encourage patients into activities that will benefit their health and wellbeing, by supporting them to build inclusive and sustainable relationships and overall healthier lives.

Together Better Lower Clapton GP Practise is looking for a volunteer to support with a range of duties and responsibilities on a weekly basis.

Duties and responsibilities:

- To attend outreach events as and when necessary to help with spreading the news about Together Better.
- Sign people up to be contacted at a later date.
- To enjoy chatting to people and have an awareness of how to encourage people to attend our activities

Skills required:
- Have a warm demeanour.
- Good communication skills
- Friendly, Warm and Chatty.

To volunteer you must be flexible as these events can take place periodically and not always the same days. A few hours when needed on an ad-hoc basis.

Advice, Information & Support,Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Community Work,General and Helping

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Conservation, Organising & Planning
