Play/ support workers

Work with the Teaching Assistants (TAs) who work with children requiring additional support. This will include providing small group support for children with identified additional needs such as mild autism, speech delays etc.

Volunteers will be supported by our special TAs

Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Caring,General and Helping

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Cleaning & Tidying, Reading & Writing

A desire and temperament to support children, team working skills are essential for this

Volunteers will gain skills required to work with and nurture children who need support. Free school dinners will also be provided.

A few hours in the morning - this can be extended if desired by the volunteer.
