Grace Organisation have been around for 35 years on Whitehall Street in Tottenham.
We specialise in offering day care and adult social care services to people suffering from dementia, disability, stroke, heart conditions, diabetes, and other long-term physical and mental health issues. We also support people in their journey towards combating loneliness and isolation. Thus, enhancing the quality of life for our service users within the Haringey Community is an extremely important goal that Grace Organisation is committed to.

Job Role:
We are urgently looking for volunteers to assist in the areas of care e.g. feeding, helping to serve meals and providing companionship whilst our clients are at the centre. It may also include cleaning up and tidying.

We are appealing to those who are out of work, retired or people with spare time on their hands. We would also really like to encourage some male volunteers to come forward.

We are also looking for volunteer drivers and those who have experience giving hand massages.

Driving (must have full driving license),Entertainment,Gardening,Music,Support Work,Art & Design,Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Caring,Catering,General and Helping

Art & Craft, Cleaning & Tidying, Language Skills, UK Driving Licence

These roles would suit people who have a caring and patient nature and who enjoy working with the elderly. No particular skills or experience is necessary, just the passion and commitment to caring for others. However, if you have experience in massage, specifically, hand massage, this would be an advantage.
