Cheer Team Volunteer- London Marathon

As a Cheer Squad Volunteer, you will help Rainbow Trust by representing us at a wide range of sporting events. From large–scale events such as the London Marathon and the Great North Run to smaller regional sports events. Our Cheer Squad Volunteers help us to
raise the vital funds needed to support even more families.
Helping at the London Marathon may include:
• Making as much noise as possible to support our amazing
sportspeople with your cheering, shouting and whistling
• Engaging with members of the public confidently
• Meeting and greeting sportspeople and their families after the event
• Supporting with setting up or packing down our cheer point
• Being an ambassador for Rainbow Trust

Fundraising,Events & Stewarding,Advice, Information & Support,Community Work,General & Helping

We’re looking for people who are: • Confident, friendly and outgoing • Trustworthy, reliable and honest • Teamplayer • Being flexible as we may ask you to support with a few different tasks on the day

• We are a Sunday Times Top 100 Not-for-Profit organisation and a leading charity for children and young people • Opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge • The enjoyment of becoming part of our friendly and welcoming team, knowing you are making a valuable contribution to the lives of the families we support • A calendar of social events for volunteers, including Christmas events and celebrations for Volunteers’ Week • We will reimburse your reasonable out-of-pocket travel expenses

Flexible, on the day however many hours you are able to give to support us on the day.
