Building Empathy and Compassion Working closely with survivors of domestic violence fosters empathy and compassion. Volunteers learn to understand and support individuals from diverse backgrounds. Creating a Supportive Community Volunteers play a crucial role in creating a supportive and safe environment for survivors. By offering a non-judgmental space, they help build a community where individuals feel understood, respected, and valued. Volunteering as a support worker in a domestic violence program is a meaningful way to contribute to the well-being of individuals and the broader community. Travel expenses will be paid to the value of £10 for each session
