Share your knowledge and passion for nature with others and help people discover more about the Heath's amazing wildlife and habitats. Be part of Wild about Hampstead Heath, (WaHH) our volunteer led learning programme, engaging visitors and helping them make lasting connections to nature.
As a Wildlife Interpreter you will:
-get out on the Heath in our purpose built WaHH interpretation bikes
-meet the public and work with families and visitors of all age
-learn amazing new things about nature and develop your environmental knowledge
-deliver different nature-based activities with visitors
-receive regular training on a range of environmental topics, developing your knowledge and skills
We want you to:
-be passionate about nature
-be keen to share your knowledge with others
-work well as part of a team and have good communication skills
-attend volunteer sessions once a month as a minimum
WaHH interpretation sessions take place every weekend, and are led by our dedicated team of volunteer supervisors.

Our volunteers don't need any prior experience of conservation. Reliability, the ability to work outdoors and good communication and interpersonal skills are important.
Get outdoors in a healthy environment, gaining and team working skills and knowlege of nature. Improve confidence and meet like-minded people from the local community. Make a lasting contribution to conserving our green spaces.
