About Iris Theatre
Iris Theatre was created in 2007 to produce work at the world-famous St. Paul’s Church in Covent Garden. Growing year on year, Iris gained full charity status in October 2009 with a mission to support the development of the next generation of professional theatre practitioners and to produce a fresh and vibrant repertoire of varied work resulting in affordable and accessible theatre.
To meet this aim, Iris is committed to giving talented people the opportunity to take their first career steps in professional theatre.
Our productions are delivered in St Paul’s Church and Grounds, a wonderful and unique backdrop for promenade productions in Central London. The Grounds offer up to 6 performance spaces which all demand large and dramatic settings within which we create the imaginative worlds for each production.
What we offer ?
This opportunity is very flexible and we can provide tailored opportunities to get involved which fit around your other commitments. This can be anything from assisting the costume designer in making the costumes, supporting the wardrobe department during the run of the show or sourcing fabrics, material in the run up for the show.
The team will be led by costume designer Anna Sances (Macbeth) and Sophie Donaldson (Hansel & Gretel).
The dates can be flexible to be fitted around other commitments and will be dependent on the need of each costume designer, who will be your main point of contact and mentor.
