Our kitchen volunteers deliver quality, healthy snacks and drinks for babies, toddlers and adults during an Oasis session. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential. Rather an enthusiasm for producing good food and willingness to work as part of a team.

Catering

Specific skills are less important than a 'can-do 'attitude and willingness to 'muck in', although a positive interest in children and families would be an asset. Some degree of multi-tasking is required. Some numeracy skills would help when serving customers, but this is not essential for all kitchen roles. An interest in producing quality food would be helpful. Equally, experience of catering would be beneficial but a positive and calm approach would suffice, as training will be given.

Volunteers will join an enthusiastic and welcoming team who support each other and those who come to our sessions. We are committed to providing volunteers with the necessary training to be effective in the role, and each new volunteer will receive supervision, whether you are looking to improve your CV, strengthen your confidence or simply give something back to your community.

3 hours, morning
