What you will be doing

Do Good, Get Fit with GoodGym Bromley

GoodGym Bromley is a community of people who get fit by doing good.

You can support older people through GoodGym by taking part in Missions. These are practical support for older people like changing smoke alarm batteries, collecting prescriptions or mowing the lawn.

Use your exercise to provide practical support for older people in their home and garden.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
