Workshop Assistant Volunteers are expected to commit to and regularly attend at least one weekly workshop. It would be mutually agreed between you and the Volunteer Coordinator, which workshop you attend as this will depend on your location and availability to commit to the workshop on a weekly basis. We do understand and fully respect that there will be occasions when a volunteer cannot attend their weekly workshop. In these cases, all we ask is that volunteers notify their supervisor as soon as possible if they can’t attend so that we can plan for replacement cover. If you are unable to commit time to at least one workshop weekly (during term time), then this role would not be suitable and instead, you may wish to apply for our Support Volunteer (Ad-hoc) role.
