To provide administrative support to support staff at Care and Support services. This may involve assisting with the duty desk, liaising with staff and external agencies, data input, maintaining customer records and general administrative duties and reception work.

We have a two stage interview process, the first interview will be with our Customer Partnerships Manager. The second will be with the Team Manager in whose service you will be placed. An informal interview, giving you an opportunity, to see the service, meet the team manager and understand the role before committing to volunteering. If you have any reservations, we will be happy to find another placement.

Key Tasks • To answer the duty phone, and to log all phone calls from customers and other professionals • To email the relevant member of Care and Support staff and relay any messages taken via the telephone • To undertake general administrative duties, such as data input onto the database, manning the reception, filing etc Other duties • To behave in a manner that upholds One Housing Group’s Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policies • To not undertake any activity that may present a conflict of interest, or be detrimental to Care and Support or One Housing Group Key Skills, Knowledge Base and Experience • A positive regard for people experiencing mental health issues • Some knowledge, of MS Word, Microsoft Outlook, using databases • The ability to handle personal data and maintain confidentiality at all times • Good verbal and written skills Special interests and activities - (desirable) • An interest in working with vulnerable people Commitment • Care and Support would like the volunteer to commit for a minimum of 3 months. • To be reliable and trustworthy • To have good timekeeping • Ability to work in a team

Supporting vulnerable customers in our services, supporting our staff to ensure our paperwork and information is accurate and up-to-date. Developing skills and CV in the role and making a difference in peoples' lives for the better.
