- To liaise between local Government and ERTA, and court their support for our schemes
- To interject on consultations
- To set up meetings with officers and elected representatives, inviting at least one other ERTA member.
- To keep an eye on planning applications and help orchestrate objections and the putting of the rail pro-affirma case
- To recruit professional interest and support translated to membership.
- The volunteer must join ERTA and also serve on the Executive Committee
