🤝 Meet great people Join a friendly team of local residents who care about making a positive difference in their community and are a successful and recognised group in the community. 🌱 Learn new skills and build confidence Gain experience in leadership, event organisation, fundraising, volunteering, communications or governance. 🎯 Make a real impact Help reduce waste, save valuable items from landfill and support local people to repair rather than replace. 📈 Boost your CV and experience Committee roles provide valuable experience for work, career development and personal growth. 😊 Feel good about giving back Volunteering is rewarding, purposeful and a great way to contribute to something bigger than yourself. ☕ Have fun while helping others Repair Cafés are social, welcoming and full of interesting conversations, practical skills and community spirit.

⏰ We're looking for a few hours a month, not a full-time commitment. Most committee members contribute around 2-4 hours per month, plus attendance at our monthly Repair Café events and occasional meetings. Most tasks can be done from home and fitted around work, family and other commitments. We share responsibilities across the team, so no one is expected to do everything. Every hour you can offer helps strengthen our community and reduce waste.
