HopeWorks Supported Accommodation is for individuals who find themselves in need of a home and some support. People come to us from a wide variety of situations; from money troubles, job loss, relationship breakdowns to mental health difficulties and homelessness.
We walk with people and tailor the support we provide around their individual needs whilst they get back on their feet in one of our homes.
Our aim is to create a safe, comfortable, quiet environment where people can build healthy community with one another. Our team believes in our clients, empowering them to make changes, build ambitions and hope for the future.

This Gardener voluntary position would require: Either adhoc or regular maintenance of some of the gardens at the supported accommodation properties. Duties to include; Removal of weeds, pruning, tidying, watering, planting, sweeping, cutting grass and general upkeep of garden space. Ability to operate tools* safely and to comply with basic health & safety guidelines Working with and reporting back to the accommodation team any concerns or issues arising Ability to work in a pair or a group with other voluntary gardeners Be respectful of HopeWorks ethos and empathy towards our clients'. *Tools and equipment would be provided.

Regular support from HopeWorks team Access to HopeWorks professional training Opportunity to make a difference to clients' quality of life

This role could take place on a regular or ad hoc basis
