The Charity Ambassador represents HopeWorks UK within local communities, helping to raise awareness, inspire engagement, and encourage partnerships that support our mission. This flexible, ad-hoc volunteer role is ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and championing positive social impact.

The volunteer will be required to;
• Represent HopeWorks UK at local events, community gatherings, and public activities to share our mission and invite involvement.
• Engage local churches, schools, and community groups by communicating the work, values, and impact of HopeWorks UK.
• Raise awareness of the issues we address and the difference our programmes make.
• Promote fundraising by encouraging individuals, groups, and organisations to support our work.
• Foster community support by building positive relationships with supporters, volunteers, and local leaders.
• Educate and inspire the public by sharing stories, resources, and opportunities for involvement.

Managing People, Organising & Planning, UK Driving Licence

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Confident speaking to groups of various sizes. • Passion for social impact and community engagement. • Ability to represent HopeWorks UK with professionalism and warmth. • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently. • Positive, encouraging, and people-focused attitude. Drivers with own vehicle preferred

• Training and briefing materials. • Ongoing support from the HopeWorks UK team, including support from the Volunteer Coordinator • Opportunities to develop public-speaking and advocacy skills. • A chance to make a meaningful difference in local communities.

This vacancy is on an ad hoc basis when we have events planned/booked. There is flexibility to fit around your availability. Ambassadors may be invited to attend events, speak at gatherings, or support campaigns throughout the year.
