Everyone’s Gang is a Bedford-based CIC dedicated to supporting young people aged 12–18. We provide a safe space for socialising, personal development, and positive activities that prevent involvement in crime and exploitation. .

Role Purpose:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist in running our youth club sessions. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives and want to gain experience in youth work.

Key Responsibilities:
Support youth club staff in delivering engaging activities, workshops, and social events.
Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all young people.
Build positive relationships with young people, acting as a role model.
Assist with setting up and tidying resources before and after sessions.
Support occasional trips, outings, or special events as needed.

Skills & Qualities:
Passion for working with young people and supporting their growth.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Ability to work in a team and follow guidance from staff.

Previous youth work experience is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.

Safeguarding:
Everyone’s Gang is committed to safeguarding all young people. All volunteers will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.

Days and Times:
Tuesdays: 3.00pm - 7.00pm
Thursdays: 3.00pm - 7.00pm

Volunteering with Everyone’s Gang gives you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them grow, stay safe and explore their potential. You’ll gain hands-on experience in youth work, develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership and receive full training and ongoing support, including safeguarding. It’s also a great way to meet new people, get involved in your community, and build references for future education or employment opportunities.

We are looking for volunteers who can support on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 3:00pm–7:00pm. We understand people have other commitments, so flexibility can be discussed.
