Specific duties will include:

Content creation and scheduling.

Maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with fixtures and club
announcements.

Produce matchday posts, graphics, videos, and stories for platforms like X,
Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Work with photographers to produce relevant and updated imagery for content.

Expand the Club’s official social media accounts to cover non-footballing events such
as bar opening and relationships with third parties.

Live coverage

Provide live text updates via X in real time during matches.

Post graphics for key moments such as goals, substitutions, and full-time results.
Community management.

Monitor and reply to fan comments and messages.

Moderate discussions to prevent abusive or inappropriate content.

Brand voice and consistency.

Maintain tone and style consistent with the club’s image and values.

Ensure correct use of club logos, fonts, and sponsor mentions.

Campaign coordination.

Collaborate with marketing and sponsorship teams to deliver campaigns and
promotional content.

Integrate social posts with ticket sales and merchandise pushes.

Analytics, reporting and growth (preferred, not essential).

Track engagement metrics, audience growth, and post-performance.

Use analytics to plan strategy and adjust content output.

Consider ways to expand the Club’s use of social media, for example additional
platforms.

There is an expectation is to work as many home and away fixture as possible.

General Club Accountabilities.

To comply with all club policies, including health and safety, data regulations and other legal, ethical, and social requirements.

To build and maintain good working relationships amongst fellow volunteers, Committee Members and supporters, whilst helping to sustain and enhance the club’s reputation.

To keep confidential any information gained regarding the club and its personnel, to protect the professional integrity of the business.

To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.

Person Specification – Essential Characteristics.

A self-starter with a high level of initiative, proactivity, and assertive approach
Uses initiative with minimal supervision.

Can manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines.

Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks as this role will require weekend and evening working.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Administration,IT, Technology & Websites,Marketing, PR & Media

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills, Photography

It would be preferable if the applicant had some experience in social media management, particularly within the sports sector. However, a willingness to learn, and a positive collaborative attitude to be part of the club’s volunteer team is the only essential criteria. Initial induction, training and continual support will be provided, to cater for all levels of experience and confidence

Free admittance to all Arlesey Town FC games Home & Away. During ATFC Home games, a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage from the Members Bar and one item of matchday food from the Food Kiosk (subject to availability).

Predominantly, the most crucial and essential time required of this role is during ATFC matches. These are played on Saturday afternoons (15:00pm Kick Off) and Tuesday evenings (19:45pm Kick Off). However, the role requires regular monitoring and engagement throughout the day outside of these times.
