Key Responsibilities



Giving talks, both ‘virtually’ online or in person on behalf of ACT. (Training will be given)

Raising visibility of our charity, promoting ACT’s fundraising initiatives, and helping to distribute fundraising literature around your local community.

Encouraging local shops, community groups, and venues to display collection tins and then collect the funds once the tins are full!

Promoting our ‘volunteer with a friend’ initiative!

Supporting us as we establish new fundraising groups across our region.

Introducing us to local businesses and organisations or share with the team any fundraising opportunities within your area.



When appropriate, attending events organised by our fundraisers as the ‘face’ of the charity, including tasks such as:

Marshalling

Helping to set up and clear down the event

Welcoming participants to the event

Cheering on participants

Handing out refreshments



All of this comes with the support from the Fundraising Team at ACT, who will help to support and guide you.
