We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to help maintain and enhance our community garden at Bushmead Community Hub. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys gardening, working outdoors, and contributing to a green and welcoming space for the local community. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Wildlife Trust on conservation and biodiversity projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with general gardening tasks, including planting, weeding,
watering, and pruning.
- Help maintain pathways, raised beds, and communal green spaces.
Support seasonal gardening projects and community-led initiatives.
- Work alongside the Wildlife Trust to promote biodiversity and habitat
conservation.
- Engage with the local community, encouraging participation in
gardening activities.
- Ensure the garden remains a safe, accessible, and enjoyable space for
all.

- A love for gardening and the outdoors (experience is beneficial but not essential). - Enthusiastic, reliable, and happy to work as part of a team. - Willingness to learn and follow guidance on conservation and sustainable gardening practices. - An interest in wildlife, nature, and community engagement. - Awareness of health and safety practices (training provided).

- A rewarding opportunity to contribute to a community-focused green space. - The chance to learn new skills and gain experience in gardening and conservation. - The opportunity to work alongside the Wildlife Trust on local environmental projects. - A friendly and welcoming volunteer environment with support from our team. - Refreshments and basic tools provided.

Flexible (weekly/monthly sessions, as needed) Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons.

Car - We located next to a free car park area with local shops including Coop, Post Office, and other local amenities. Bus - The local route served by Arriva Bus route 24/25, we suggest getting off at the church bus stop and we are a one minute walk from there.

The Hub is completely flat floor and have accessible toilet facilities. We also have loading and unloading bay to help with access to the facility. The local area is ramped and flat floor access to shops and local amenities.
