• To collect and drive children and their guardian/parent to Keech hospice activities at the hospice or in the community under the instruction and guidance of the Hospice staff
• To collect and drive children and their guardian/parent to hospital appointments as required under the instruction and guidance of the Hospice staff. Transport will be in a Keech fleet vehicle. The childrens service covers 5 district general hospitals Watford, Luton & Dunstable, Lister (Stevenage), Bedford and Milton Keynes. Occasionally we need to get families to Addenbrookes and on occasions Great Ormond Street Hospice in London.
• To perform other driving duties, if requested, either by Children’s In-patient Unit or community team which may include bringing families to events either at the hospice in Luton or an activity out in the community.
