Do you have a passion for helping others? Have you considered volunteering at your local hospital? The Blossom Service, at Bedfordshire Hospitals, enables volunteers to provide support and companionship for those receiving End of Life Care and their loved ones. The volunteers provide a hand to hold and friendly face at a heart-breaking and uncertain time. They can offer respite for those who may need it and be a companion for patients without visitors.

Offering a minimum of 3 hours, on a fortnightly basis, you can be part of a wonderful team that supports families who are loosing their loved ones. In addition, those patients who are in their last few days of life may not have any family. You can be the person to hold their hand and ensure they do not spend their last days alone.

In addition, supporting Annie ( Service Coordinator ) on external events. Community stalls, talks etc.

Free parking when volunteering Experience in a hospital setting helping those receiving End of Life Care Feeling part of a team and needed Giving back to your local hospital
