As an Outreach and Events Volunteer, you will be an essential part of our team, supporting our outreach efforts and assisting with the planning and execution of events. Your role will include:

Outreach Activities:

Engaging with community members to promote our organization's mission and events.
Distributing flyers, brochures, and promotional materials in local neighborhoods and public spaces.
Building relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to expand our reach.

Event Support:

Collaborating with the events team to plan and organize fundraising events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
Assisting with logistics such as venue setup, registration, and coordinating volunteers.
Interacting with event attendees, providing information about our programs, and fostering a positive experience.
Contributing creative ideas to enhance event engagement and effectiveness.
Rising awareness of the Disability Resource Centre and the services we provide.
Promoting the Charity in a positive and motivating manner

Administration,Advice, Information & Support,Community Work,Driving (must have full driving licence),Entertainment,Fundraising,Marketing, PR & Media,Retail & Charity Shops,Campaigning & Lobbying,Events & Stewarding,First Aid,General & Helping

Admin, Evaluating & Reviewing, Organising & Planning, UK Driving Licence

Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm for community engagement and event coordination. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
