What you will be doing

RollBack Skating is an established regular activity throughout the week and on weekends in Bedford.

We offer great roller discos, roller hockey, latest music, games and special events throughout the year

We are looking for savvy volunteers to help steward at our events and after school clubs.
No skating skill is required but is desirable.

Skills Description

- Good customer service skills will be important as we come face to face with members of the public. - Set up and pack away of resources / activities - Background in skating would be useful (not essential) - Cheerful, friendly, calm person with a good sense of humour. - Willingness to learn.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
