What you will be doing

We are looking for a volunteer who can seek out and convince journalists of our cause. This would mean being acquainted with our website, the campaign aims and reasons for perinatal improvements. If any prospective volunteers could kindly do so, so that they can execute the tasks with conviction and understanding.

We are looking for someone experienced who can represent our campaign when dealing with journalists.

We are looking for someone who is a skilled advocate and able to commit to liaising with our campaign representatives to most essentially ensure that all facts are correctly detailed when being relayed to journalists.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
