Visiting lonely, isolated and potentially vulnerable older people in their own homes to enable them to feel more engaged with the community. In addition, we provide a non-judgmental and confidential listening ear where needed. We try to match clients with like-minded befrienders (i.e. similar hobbies and interests).

Talking To Others, Listening

Reliable, friendly, honest people who are good listeners. Own vehicle or access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential. Will require a criminal record check (DBS) and will require two character references.

Meeting new people in the area, and helping to reduce the feelings of loneliness and isolation in the community.
